SATURDAY JULY 4 2020Rock out with us this Independence Day with the only real live virtual competition anywhere around. The USA Independence Day 5k Virtual Run is a Remote Race that you complete on your own course at whatever time you like! Head-to-head competition begins at 7:00am EST but you can complete the course anytime between 5:30am and 11:30am EST. *Runners that want to run outside of these hours can still participate but will default to an ordinary virtual run and you won't be scored in the results. |
HOW DOES THIS WORK?
Participants will use the Elite Events Tracker app to time their own 5k run course using our new Remote Race feature. Your split times and place updates live as the race progresses. Head-to-head competition starts at 7:00am but you can run anytime between 5:30am EST and 11:30am EST. Participants are highly encouraged to start at 7:00am as this will make it feel the most like a real race!

WHAT DO I GET IN THE MAIL?

OPTION 2: We will randomly pick one of the USA Independence Day 5k Shirts below.

OPTION 3: Finisher medal. One of these awesome USA themed designs below will be randomly selected for you.

OPTION 4: A completely random (but in your size) dry fit tech shirt or soft cotton tank top from a previous Elite Event.

Set up your profile in the app by following the USER GUIDE HERE.
Race Day...
Try to run as close to 7am as possible as this will make the race feel more like a real race. However, if that does not work for your schedule, you can still run anytime between 5:30am EST and 11:30am EST. Your results will live stream in the app no matter what time you start.
After the Race...
About a week or so after the event, you will receive your packet in the mail!
